The Essential Sketchbook This sturdy sketchbook is perfect for drawing, sketching, writing or calligraphy, and is a fun, easy project that can be customized in so many ways. The open spine book is 8 inches high by 10 inches wide and opens flat. The covers are decorated with bookcloth and decorative paper, and the inside pages are made from heavyweight art paper. No previous bookbinding experience is necessary to make this one-of-a-kind treasure. You’ll have many styles and colors of bookcloth and paper to choose from, and you’ll learn many handy bookbinding techniques. All materials and tools are included, but if you prefer using your own favorite tools, please bring a bone folder, thin awl, pencil, scissors and glue brush.
